Written by Our friend, the longest member of the group, Assist. Prof. Gavin Craig left the group at the end of July and moved to the University of Strathclyde @Glasgow, UK, as a new PI (Lecturer). Gavin starts his own group at the beginning of September.
Gavin has been contributing to the group since 2016, even at the time that the Furukawa group was still a part of the Kitagawa group. We had a great time together at work, at conferences, and at the bar on the way home. All of the group members wish your success at the new position!! Congratulations, Gavin. See you soon!!
