Our long-term collaboration with Lyon finally got published in J. Am. Chem. Soc. This true collaboration with the group of Jerome Canivet and David Farrusseng in IRCELyon showed our Rh-based MOP and their solid-state materials (linked MOP aerogels and linked MOP particles) catalyze CO2 to formic acid!! In this study we demonstrated the best performance to convert CO2 to formic acid as heterogenous catalysis. Amazing!!

This study started when we formed the CNRS international research project (CNRS-IRP) “Small Molecular Laboratory” in 2018. We will further investigate the potential for catalysis together. From our side, our French postdoc, Alex Legrand, contributed a lot to this project. Congratulations, all!!
