Joined five young guns

The Furukawa group welcomed five young students in this autumn. Good luck, Li-Hao!!

Mr. Li-Hao Liu, visiting student from Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), Taiwan, finished the research at the Furukawa group and went back to CYCU for his PhD dissertation last month. Gavin is promoted!!!

Dr. Gavin Craig, the JSPS postdoctoral fellow, is now promoted to be a Program-Specific Assistant Professor!! Gavin already contributed a lot to our molecular cage chemistry. He is going to explore more this chemistry for a new application. Congratulations, Gavin!!

We welcome Frederik Haase

Dr. Frederik Haase joined the Furukawa group as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow from the group of Prof. Bettina Lotsch at MPI Stuttgart. As usual we welcome Frederik with pints of beers!!

Marina Kawano left the group

Ms. Marina Kawano who did a research for her bachelor traning left the group and started to work in the car industry. Marina was a hard worker and contributed to our kick-off  project of supramolecular polymerization. Good luck, Marina!!

Yoko Takahara left the group and Kazuko Trauden joins the group

Ms. Yoko Takahara, who worked as a lab manager and secretary for five years, left the group. She contributed to the lab maintenance and all the administration business. Arnau Carne left the group

Dr. Arnau Carne who worked as JSPS postdoc in the MC2 group left the group back to Barcelona.
